After her education in F.M.V Işık High School in 1993, Banu Dedeman, who was born in Ankara in 1975, got a Hotel Management Certificate Program from Boğaziçi University and a Business Education in Miami (1999). She participated to Bilgi University Design Management and Culture Certificate Program.
Her professional life started in 1993 as a Business Manager Candidate in the Group of Dedeman. She worked in the departments of Public Relations, Finance and Accounting and carried on the task of Vice Chairman. Banu Dedeman, who was a Member of Dedeman Holding Board and the Director of Institutional Projects between 2002 and 2004, has managed the real estate and institutional communication projects of this group within this time and took an active part in the reorganization of the Holding and in the transition periods to institutional Management Principles. Banu Dedeman, after her job as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International, continues to be a Member of Dedeman Tourism Investors A.Ş and Member of the Board of Decar Rent a Car. Besides being member of GYIAD (Young Executives and Businessmen’s Association) and TKYD (Turkish Institutional Investment Manager’s Association) Banu Dedeman is Umut Foundation’s Founding Trustee and Member of the Board.
