"I am a human being -I’m an individual -I’m a citizen" Training project by Educational Volunteers Foundation and Umut Foundation

TEGV and the UMUT FOUNDATION have developed a training project for the volunteers who will provide information to 11-14 year-old students applying to TEGV Training Parks/ Education Units by giving them training beforehand. 

TEGV’s representative in the project is Sevil SEVENTÜRK and UMUT FOUNDATION’s representative is Prof. Dr. İpek GÜRKAYNAK.

The aim of the protocol is to set the conditions of the following matters:
The delivery of the student’s book and the handbook titled ’’To become a citizen...’’ prepared by  Prof. Dr. İpek GÜRKAYNAK and her team to be used during the training , copyrighted to UMUT FOUNDATION to TEGV free of charge as part of the project
 
The coordination of the training of the volunteers by Prof. Dr. İpek GÜRKAYNAK

The Project will be realized between 01 February 2002 and 30 June 2003.

An agenda has been created by determining the suitable parts of ’’To become a citizen...’’ student’s book and the handbook of UMUT FOUNDATION for 6th, 7th and 8th grades, which will take up 2 hours per week for a duration of 8 weeks for each grade and all the expenses in this respect have been covered.

During the first stage, 5000 (five thousand) copies of ’’To become a citizen...’’ student’s book and 90 copies of ’’To become a citizen...’’ Trainers’ handbook have been delivered in order to hand out to the participants of the training free of charge. During the second stage another 5000 (five thousand) copies of ’’To become a citizen...’’ student’s book and 90 copies of ’’To become a citizen...’’ Trainer’s handbook will be granted to TEGV free of charge.
